This license allows an individual or a company to operate a pet cemetery or pet crematorium in New York State. The license comes from the New York State Department of State (NYSDOS).
"Pet cemeteries" are places provided for the burial or internment of animal remains. "Pet crematoria" are places for the cremation of animal remains.
Applicants must pay a fee. The license is valid for two years. Businesses need a property of at least five acres for the license.
